Founder/Psychotherapist
Alyssa Vu, LCSW
(she/her/herself) The founder and lead therapist of YourPlace Therapy. As a second-generation Asian-American, Alyssa works closely with children of immigrants, focusing on adults and families facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. Alyssa earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Columbia University, honing her clinical expertise in community-based settings while collaborating with diverse populations in both the Bay Area and New York City. Currently, Alyssa is pursuing her Doctorate of Clinical Social Work at the University of Pennsylvania, where her research centers on developing interventions aimed at reducing mental health issues among immigrant parents and their children. This reflects her unwavering dedication to enhancing the well-being of immigrant families. Jessica Yoon, LMSW
(she/her/herself) With a focus on supporting clients through anxiety, depression, and relational challenges, Jessica takes a gentle, trauma-informed approach. She is particularly attuned to the complexities of religious and family trauma, as well as the unique experiences of AAPI individuals. Committed to creating inclusive, healing spaces, Jessica tailors her support to each client's needs. Whether helping clients heal from past wounds or guiding them toward personal growth, she is dedicated to their well-being. Additionally, she manages our social media and website, adding a personal touch to her professional endeavors.

Coach/Consultant
Tawn Le
(she/her/herself) Consultant & Coach specializing in helping working professionals rediscover what matters most, make practical changes in their day-to-day lives, and/or create a personal or professional project as a way to create and move into the next chapter of their lives. Tawn is a Reiki III Practitioner under the Usui System of Natural Healing attuned by Reiki Masters Aki Baker and Manu Del Prete, a Meditation Facilitator with a 100-Hour Meditation Certification from the Nalanda Institute, an End of Life volunteer trained with the International End of Life Doula Association, and studied Feng Shui under the Tan Yang Wu lineage at the Feng Shui Academy. She also creates handmade incense under Boundless Nest and is a big supporter of helping others integrate mindful living.

Psychotherapist
Sheryl Hugh, LMSW
(she/her/hers) LMSW and Mental Health Therapist. As a first-generation Jamaican American, Sheryl is dedicated to helping individuals from communities who’ve experienced marginalization on the basis of race, gender, class, and citizenship status. Her interests include counseling, social work, and the sociology of race, gender, and law. As a sociologist and social worker, Sheryl hopes to assist individuals, couples and families using concrete strategies such as therapy, counseling, and skill-building. Sheryl has provided counseling individually, to families, and couples with a focus on working with BIPOC individuals, LGBTQIA+ young adults, and young adult women. Sheryl is dedicated to providing support and utilizing her knowledge on mental health to assist individuals with exploring, learning, and practicing skills to manage and better their mental and holistic health.

Daelina Johnson, LMSW
is a therapist dedicated to supporting individuals through life's challenges, specializing in trauma recovery, anxiety, and personal growth. With over five years of experience, she combines evidence-based therapies (CBT, DBT) with mindfulness and somatic practices to create lasting transformation. She particularly focused on supporting women's empowerment, stress management, and navigation of life transitions, offering a safe space where clients can develop emotional regulation skills and reconnect with their inner wisdom.
