Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance?

Our practice is out-of-network at this time. Clients who are seeking therapy with one of our therapists can inquire about sliding-scale (adjusted) rates based on each therapist's fee.  We work hard to not have finances be a barrier for our clients to meet their mental health needs. Additionally, we offer superbill documents for clients who have out-of-network benefits to send to their insurance companies for reimbursements.

How much do services cost?

Rates vary with each clinician.  For individual therapy, rates start from  $125 for 45-minute sessions, and  $50 for 30-minute sessions. For couples therapy, rates begin from $150 for 50-minute sessions. Coaching sessions are $200 per session. Group therapy session rates begin at $75 depending on the session topic and the length of time. Please note that each clinician has their own sliding-scale option, so please feel free to inquire more about their rates!

Do you provide telehealth or in-person services?

Yes, we offer both telehealth (virtual/online) therapy and in-person sessions for clients who want the flexibility. Our offices are currently in Midtown Manhattan (near Grand Central) and Parkslope in Brooklyn. For those of you who can't make it for in-person sessions, we provide a telehealth link that allows us to meet with clients through confidential and HIPAA-compliant technology. We're confident that we can deliver quality service to meet you wherever you are.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

Inquiring would be a good start!

You are welcome to schedule a free consultation with our therapists to get to know them and how they could help you reach your goals. Our trained therapists are here to guide you in better understanding what your needs are. Feel free to email us or contact us through the website to set up a consultation.

What should I expect from my therapist?

For your first session, you can expect our therapists to learn more about you and gather more information in order to have a good sense of where you're currently at in your life through our biopsychosocial assessment. Our therapists are trained to provide empathy, compassion, and nonjudgmental safe spaces for our clients to have open and confidential conversations.
